The train from Shinjuku to Odawara takes 93 minutes so be sure to catch an express. The entire journey takes approximatly 3hrs and 40 minutes and costs only \u00a53070.<\/p><p>I suggest you use <a title=\"Hyperdia\" href=\"http:\/\/www.hyperdia.com\/en\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Hyperdia<\/a> to check for train schedules. Click on &#8220;search details&#8221; and make sure you uncheck &#8220;Bullet Train&#8221;, &#8220;Nozomi&#8221;, and &#8220;Limited Express Trains&#8221; to find the cheapest routes.<\/p><p>You can also ask the super friendly folks at the JR East English info line for help:<\/p><p><a href=\"tel:+8150-2016-1603\">050-2016-1603<\/a><\/p><p>(If you are calling from overseas, drop the first zero and add the country code 81)<\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p><strong>***<\/strong>Please note, the name of the station you want to get off at is <em>Izukyu Shimoda Station<\/em>. If you use <a href=\"http:\/\/www.hyperdia.com\/en\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Hyperdia<\/a> or <a title=\"Jorudan Train Schedules and Fares for Japan \" href=\"http:\/\/www.jorudan.co.jp\/english\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Jorudan<\/a> to search for train schedules and fares, you must use &#8220;Izukyu Shimoda&#8221; as your destination point.
